SCREENING (the first step)
Our clinicians will carefully inspect the hair and scalp. If an active case of head lice is confirmed and a treatment plan is chosen, the screening fee is waived. Because lice spread quickly through a household, it is very important that all family members are checked once an active case has been confirmed.
Signature AirAllé® Treatment
This is our most popular and effective lice treatment option. It is a 3-step process which includes a 30-minute AirAllé® treatment, a 30-60-minute comb-out to remove the dead lice and eggs and an oil application. This 3-step full-service treatment option ensures you will leave lice free with no follow-up needed. With a success rate of over 99%, we are so confident you will leave lice free, we offer a 30-day service re-treatment policy* provided all family members have been checked for head lice in our clinic and treated as necessary.
*In the unlikely event of treatment failure, we will re-treat you for FREE!
KICK OFF TREATMENT
This option is designed for those who want the professional heated-air treatment but are more budget-minded and feel they can handle the comb-out procedure themselves. We do a complete and thorough treatment using the AirAllé device to kill the lice and their eggs. Then we provide you with the products and instructions needed to complete the process at home, including a professional-grade lice comb. Since the ultimate success of this option depends on how well the comb-out is performed. We do not offer our re-treatment policy for this service.
COMB-OUT TREATMENT
Under this option, our technicians will do a thorough comb-out in our clinic. Duration of treatment depends on length of hair and infestation level. Because we don’t use the AirAllé device. We do not offer our re-treatment policy for this service.
DO-IT-YOURSELF TREATMENT
This is the least expensive option, but the most time consuming. We provide all the topical treatment products you will need, along with a professional lice comb. Our technician will provide detailed instructions on how to properly perform the comb-out. Since most parents are not experienced at lice-removal, this will take substantially more time than a professional treatment in order to ensure all the lice are removed. Multiple treatments will be needed over the course of 10 days, with each treatment taking over an hour.
*PLEASE NOTE: The AirAllé® device cannot be used to treat persons who cannot sense temperature or pain; who cannot communicate physical discomfort; who have open head wounds, sores, or visible signs of skin or scalp abnormalities; who have received radiation treatment of the head within the last 6 months; who have cranial or facial implants; children under the age of 4; or who have hair that cannot be combed through with a standard comb.
